Problems with DSL and Security Systems

Over the past few years the telephone exchange has gone through major changes. One such change telephone exchanges now offer is DSL. DSL provides high speed internet with "always on capabilities". Unfortunately, this service has been found to cause problems in the way that security systems communicate to the central station. If you have DSL in your home, you should contact San Lee Security immediately. You need to add a filter so the DSL and alarm system will work properly.

Description
Designed specifically for homes with alarm systems, alarm filter keeps DSL service, home phone line networking (HPN) and alarm systems functioning as they should. The alarm filter blocks DSL and HPN signals from interfering with the alarm system’s voice-band modem. At the same time, it isolates DSL and HPN equipment from alarm equipment impedances. With this two-way protection, the alarm filter keeps the alarm system operating reliably around the clock and ensures fast, uninterrupted DSL and HPN access even while the alarm system is dialing.
The installation is a snap just plug the filter into the phone connection for the alarm (RJ31X-RJ38X) The filter performance and reliability means fewer service calls and satisfied customers. There is a one time cost of $25.00 from San Lee Security.
