System Operation
Click on the keypad that you have in your home to see operations for your security system.
Disarm/Off - This mode is used to turn your system off when armed or to cut off the siren.
To turn off enter your 4 digit code and then 1 (off)
Note: If the alarm has been activated and the siren is going off you must enter your code and off twice once to stop the siren and a second time to clear the alarm message.
Away - This mode is used when everyone will be leaving the home. In this mode your interior motion detector(s) will be turned on.
To arm to this mode enter your 4 digit code and then 2 (AWAY)
Stay- This mode is used when people will be staying in the home but they still want the alarm to be set. This mode also allows for late arrivals to enter the home through the entry exit door and disarm the system. For example, if you have already gone to sleep for the night and are expecting your husband/wife to come in at a later hour, if the system is set for the stay mode they can simply enter in through the entry exit door and disarm the system from the keypad (granted they do not take longer than your entry/exit time is set).
To arm to this mode enter your 4 digit code and then 3 (STAY)
Instant - This mode is used when everyone is in the home for good and no one will be arriving or leaving (normally used when everyone goes to bed). This mode makes all your perimeter zones instant even your entry/exit door. For example if anyone were to open any perimeter door in the middle of the night the alarm will activate immediately.
To arm to this mode enter your 4 digit code and then 7 (INSTANT)
Chimes On/Off- When your chimes are activated you will hear a beep from the keypad when a door is opened and the system disarmed.
To turn chimes on enter 4 digit code and then 9 (CHIME)
To turn chimes off enter 4 digit code and then 9 (CHIME)

To arm to this mode enter your 4 digit code and then leave out the entry/exit door.
Instant - This mode is used when everyone is in the home for good and no one will be arriving or leaving (normally used when everyone goes to bed). This mode makes all your perimeter zones instant even your entry/exit door. For example if anyone were to open any perimeter door in the middle of the night the alarm will activate immediately.
To arm to this mode enter your 4 digit code and don't open any doors

To reset fire or glass breaks after alarm press the pound key

To turn chimes on enter 7 and then 1.
To turn chimes off enter 7 and then 1.
To set the system date:
1. Enter the programming menus by pressing 9 + System Master Code.
2. Press 01.
3. Enter the current date as 6 digits (mm/dd/yy) then press #.
4. Press * + 4 + # to exit the programming menus
To set the system time:
1. Enter the programming menus by pressing 9 + System Master Code.
2. Press 00.
3. Enter the correct time in 24-hour format (4 digits), then press #. For
example, if the current time is 7:23 a.m., press 0723 + #.
4. Press * + 4 + # to exit the programming menus.
